The Nye Ranch is a large, cozy, comfortable 100-year-old redwood farmhouse. It was originally a dairy farm. It sits on 6 acres, has beautiful ocean views, and a private path to the beach. Just 2 miles north of the town of Fort Bragg on Hwy 1, it is the perfect choice for large family gatherings. The Ranch is furnished with both antiques and with art by local artists; giving it a warm lived in but up to date feel. It is a perfect escape and a wonderful retreat for writers and artists as well as a delightful gathering place for family and friends.

Almost every picture on this blog was taken within walking distance of the Nye Ranch. Most of them were taken at the ranch. The beach photos are within walking or bike riding distance of the Nye. The Ranch is an unusual delight.

We have llamas, horses, and a huge organic garden. We practice sustainable farming practices and biodynamic gardening.
